Beth Marshall

Elizabeth Marshall was the Auditor General of Newfoundland and Labrador from 1992 to 2002. She was succeeded in the position by John Noseworthy.

Marshall has 23 years of experience in the provincial public service. She has served in several senior positions including Deputy Minister of Social Services and Deputy Minister of Works, Services, and Transportation. She served as the province's Auditor General for a term of 10 years. Ms. Marshall was born in Stephenville Crossing and received her early education in St. Lawrence, Corner Brook, and Grand Falls. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Math) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and she has been a Chartered Accountant since 1979. She is married to businessperson Stan Marshall, and they reside in Topsail.
