PC 258 Beth Green is a fictional character in the long running ITV drama The Bill. She is played by Louisa Lytton.

On Beth's first day on the beat, she is paired with PC Emma Keane as they investigate a break-in at a house, Beth's nerves get the better of her as she sprays the suspect in the eyes with CS spray as he is being restrained, but Emma is also contaminated. She reveals that on a previous occasion she accidentally sprayed herself when she aimed it backwards. She is more successful later on in using her CS spray, this time to stop a fleeing suspect.

Although Beth gets on well with some of her colleagues, particularly PC Dan Casper who is impressed by her attention to detail and memory, there are still a few who show disdain and scepticism towards their latest recruit, especially Emma, who thought she was twelve years old and PC Will Fletcher, who is irritated at the thought that Beth is attracted to him.

In one episode, she is hit on the head with a bottle by an escaped convict and knocked out. She is also hit with a rake, knocking her unconscious, and left tied up in a hospital cupboard by the escaped Larry Franks. In another episode (Crash Test) she was almost sprayed in the face with Acid.

In episode 530 (Crash Test) Beth goes undercover to aid Terry Perkins investigation on a notorious loan shark. Beth played Terry's drug addicted daughter seeking money to pay back her dealer.
