"Best of Intentions" is a single by American country music singer Travis Tritt that reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Released as the first single from his CD, Down the Road I Go, it also became Tritt's first Number One single since 1994.

The music video for "Best of Intentions" was filmed at Tennessee State Penitentiary, where movies such as Marie, Ernest Goes to Jail, Last Dance and The Green Mile were filmed.[1]

This song debuted at #48 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks on the chart dated July 8, 2000, and climbed to Number One in November, where it remained for one week, giving Tritt his fifth (and to date, most recent) Number One single. The song also peaked at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
