[edit] Synopsis
The series features the return of Esther Kwan to TVB as Wong Ka Nam. Wong Ka Nam's son was taken custody by her mother-in-law for 18 long years while she lived in the states. After so many years she wishes to see her son and see if she could reunite together as mother and son, however not with the resistance of her mother-in-law who views her as a bad luck since her son died in an airplane accident looking for her. As she returns to Hong Kong her mother-in-law is highly protective of her grandson fearing he'll taken away by Wong Ka Nam and does her best to keep them apart. However Wong Ka Nam is ironically assisted by her own son who befriends her and secures an office job in his advertising agency. Most of story involves comedic and complex dynamics of office and family politics between rivals, friendship and romance within the office and household while in the midst of Wong Ka Nam watching over her son.
