Best & Less is an Australian department store chain with hundreds of stores nationally. They specialise in discounted clothing for all the family.

Best & Less opened its first store at Parramatta, NSW on 27th May 1965.
In April 1998 Best & Less was propelled into a structured new growth phase when it was acquired by Pepkor Limited - a leading listed retail group in South Africa. The acquisition by Pepkor has enabled Best & Less to grow at an aggressive pace to the current 161 stores, with an anticipated 190 stores by the end of 2008.
The current Best and Less Head Office is located in Leichhardt, New South Wales

Best and less currently uses its slogan "It just gets better" in promotion. The stores have a color scheme of a moderately toned business blue and white colour, also used in the company's logo.

Best and less is a consistent support of many charitable organisations, most notably the breast cancer pink ribbon day, Australian surf life saving and Sudden infant death syndrome foundation.

They have recently been featured on Network Nine's " A current affair" as having competitively priced quality children's clothing. Also the store's advertisements are often shown on the various national free to air television networks.
