Besate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 25 km southwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,813 and an area of 12.7 km².[1]
Besate borders the following municipalities: Morimondo, Vigevano, Casorate Primo, Motta Visconti.
