[edit] Manufacturing technic of a lenticular product

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Manufacturing technic of a lenticular product, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Manufacturing technic of a lenticular product. [edit] Information for the site administrator: (Pegasus)

I certify that I have all the rights to all images with the prefix "sq3d-"
I have already indicated some of the sources for this article. I will soon other references, and soon as the enrichment of this article.
I am looking and I will also all internal links to wikipedia, enhancing reliability and content of this article.

Whilst you may have some rights to the images, as the creator of the derivative work, I would suspect that you do not have all rights to them. In particular, where you have animated an image from an existing copyright work, your copyright is in addition to the original copyright, and does not replace it. [edit] Information for the site administrator:

  • Pegasus:

I want one that gives me the exact reasons for which this editor think my article meets the criteria for inclusion of wikipedia.
As far as I am concerned, I find that articles found on wikipedia on the subject of his great poverty and lack of objectivity, particularly article:Lenticular lens. Moreover, it enjoys a redirection of the word Lenticular. The changes that I want to make his articles were rejected by the author. This is the main reason for writing this new product which seems to be the height of the subject. In all objectivity, Wikipedia can only be enhanced by the seriousness and the information provided by this article.

  • Mayalld:

For images, I understand your words, although I do not agree. The changes that I am going to need your satisfaction.

[edit] Speedy deletion of The design images

A tag has been placed on The design images requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Please stop for a moment!

You are going hell for leather to create what would appear to be an extensive set of articles on a very narrow subject. As you do this, others are equally busy proposing that these article be deleted.

You are up against a community view that these articles are way too much on the subject. One article would be sufficient, incorporating sufficient information without going into minute detail. You can battle against that view, but it is likely that the community view will prevail, and the articles will be deleted. Mayalld (talk) 15:43, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] There is no problem!

Would it be possible to know "others" who are so busy deleting those articles. I initially wanted to create a single article, but it's response to a request by Wikipedia (can be automated) that I cut this article. But artcicle focus is not destroyed and agree glad to remove sous-articles. What do you think?
Bernard SOULIER (talk) 15:57, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Not sure that I understand what you are trying to say here. Who has requested that you create multiple articles?? Mayalld (talk) 16:08, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
I got a message indicating that I exceeds a number of "Kio" that several browsers could not function properly. The message advised me to break out of the article in several. That's what I started to do stupidly !Bernard SOULIER (talk) 17:54, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I followed the suggestions by decomposing wikipedia article under my articles. This article is not a guide or mauel work. It outlines in the clearest possible terms the definitions of quality defects found in lenticular productions. Bernard SOULIER (talk) 17:12, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Information N°2 for the site administrator: Orange Mike

I am a new entrant, and I believe sincerely bring something positive to wikipedia and its users. I worked very hard to write this article and I feel assaulted from all sides. I do not understand your hard work and your execution speed, I have the feeling of being something wrong? Why is this censorship, I have no rational explanation, clear and precise. [edit] Welcome, and suggestions

Hi! I see you have been editing here for a little while, but that nobody gave you the standard welcome message. I added it at the top of this page. Take a look at the links included in it. They lead to articles that give information on how to use Wikipedia's markup language, and how to write good articles.

I see that you have a lot of great information to contribute on lenticulars, but that you have been having trouble getting your edits to "stick". This is a common problem for newer editors. Wikipedia has a particular structure, and a particular "house style" for how articles are to be written. You don't have to master everything at once to contribute, but if you get it roughly right your work will more likely be accepted. Other editors will then clean up your work and improve on it rather than deleting it.

One of the most important things to understand is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not some other kind of work. In particular, it is not a textbook. Good wikipedia articles start with a general audience in mind, give the subject context, and get into details later. The focus is on presenting facts, rather than teaching subject matter. Extended worked examples, as you've used in Optical lenticular, are generally not appropriate. Material written from the correct perspective will rarely use "we" or "you", but rather will be written in the third person. As it stands, Optical lenticular is not going to work. The material looks very useful, but it's primarily textbook material and doesn't coordinate with the main article on lenticulars. It might be possible to cut it down and merge it into the main article, but doing so will be difficult. What you really need to do is reformulate it as an explanation of the mathematics and physics of lenticular design, perhaps with a short mathematical example. If the article ends up being short, it could be a new section of lenticular lens. If it's too long for that, it could be moved to a more appropriate title, and a short summary could be added to lenticular lens, with a link to the longer article.

A couple other points:

  • Do not put links to your employer's website in Wikipedia articles. That is a conflict of interest, and such links will be removed. Generally links to commercial sites are discouraged anyway, to prevent Wikipedia from being used to advertise products and services.
  • Learn to use Wikipedia's markup language instead of HTML tags. Tags like <b> and <td> should never be used in Wikipedia articles. While they work, the wiki provides a much simpler, easier-to-read markup language that covers all the common formatting one needs.

Hope this helps. Again, take a look at the links in the "welcome" message at the top of the page. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions.--Srleffler (talk) 04:43, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lenticular lens cleanup

Hi. I started cleaning up and reorganizing Lenticular lens. I would appreciate it if you would look over what I have done, particularly to ensure that the contents are factually correct. There were passages that were difficult to understand, and in places I had to interpolate or guess what was intended.--Srleffler (talk) 05:26, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
