[edit] Question about the tag.

I can understand the neutrality issue-- if I were to add just a factual bio about Bert Tatham and then include the story that's up now under a different heading to show what the opinions of the people supporting his situation are, would that be ok? Thanks.

[edit] Reason for the tag.

Basically, the material needs to be more neutral in the way it is written. The "meat" of the story is a cut and paste from a website with the sole purpose of backing the subject. A short factual article would be more appropriate. This article is not encyclopedic, in my opinion. --Stormbay 01:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible AfD

The main problem is that the article appears to advocate the subject's release, violating WP:NPOV, and obviously copies and pastes from a web site, which is likely a WP:COPYVIO. I should put this up for an AfD, but I'll wait for the author(s) to fix this first. I don't think notability is an issue. Realkyhick 03:44, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Permissions

The original author, User:Cartergilchrist, asked this question in an edit summary:

"I have permission to reproduce the copy from freebert.ca as it was written by the same person that I am trying to make this page with. Is there something I need to do in order to show that?"

Yes, there is. See this page: WP:COPYREQ. Realkyhick 23:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

Please see the article. I pared it down a bit and tagged stuff that should be removed or reworded unless citations are provided. Any suggestions? Anyone want to tackle more of a rewrite? --Stormbay 18:59, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] POV

I think the article has been rewritten enough to have a fairly neutral POV now. Thanks to all concerned for your work. Realkyhick 03:17, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
