I started this article about Berryville Vineyards because Berryville Vineyards is listed as one of the Illinois wineries on the "List of Wineries in Illinois" page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illinois_wineries). It seems appropriate that the list should be as fully represented as possible on Wikipedia, as three Illinois wineries on the list are already represented on Wikipedia. This page offers information about the history of Berryville Vineyards and will also contain information concerning awards it has obtained when they can be properly documented. Clicking on a red link is a good way to find an article to start, but this article will need to assert its subject's importance or significance shortly, or it will be speedily deleted under WP:CSD#A7. If you find that the vineyard isn't notable and decide that it should be deleted, you can do nothing (it'll be deleted in a while anyway), or add {{db-g7}} to the article. I have added information about the winery's award from the Lincoln Balloon Festival, but I haven't been able to document this electronically, except from the winery's own web site. I would like to provide some more information concerning the regional significance of this winery, but I will probably need to look at some print sources first.Intreverend (talk) 04:03, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Alright, because the article now asserts the notability of its subject, it's no longer a candidate for speedy deletion, and I removed the tags. WODUP 04:32, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
