Argument against speedy deletion: a) Before I proceed, I must emphasize that I intend to immediately begin the process of improving the page. I understand that it does not meet wikipedia standards for a strong page and I will attend to this immediately by including the information/links/references/etc. that are requisite of a respectable encyclopedic entry.

b) This is a preeminent a cappella group which represents the South Asian community in the United States. On a daily basis there are searches made to learn more about the state of South Asian a cappella in the nation, and Berkeley Dil Se is a major part of this movement. There is evidence to show that Dil Se is searched for on youtube and google, and therefore there is good reason to believe that there are similar searches on wikipedia. In fact, I am aware that there are searches done on wikipedia for us.

c)South Asian a cappella commands a large section of the "collegiate a cappella" topic in the "a cappella" page of wikipedia, so this is clearly a subject of importance - not something I am giving importance due to personal bias.

d) Precedence: Penn Masala, the most famous South Asian a cappella team in the nation, has a strong wikipedia page. Indeed, people search for the page on wikipedia since south asian a cappella is growing in popularity amongst not only the college community but the greater US community.

e) Berkeley Dil Se is just as respected and established an a cappella group as other groups on Berkeley campus like the Golden Overtones and the UC Men's Octet. They have uncontested wikipedia pages, so I see no reason for Dil Se's to be in question.

It would be nice if an administrator could specifically articulate why this page is being considered for deletion. As is evidenced, there clearly is the capacity for this to be a legitimate page. However, being that it is my first page, perhaps there is something I am doing wrong which can be remedied with some advice from management.
