[edit] Billy & the Boingers/Strip compilations

Under the "Books" section, "Billy and the Boingers: Bootleg" is the only strip compilation listed, although there were many others. I'd like to either add the complete list of compilations or remove this one. It should be all or nothing. Any feelings either way? PacificBoy 19:54, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Within this Doonesbury FAQ is a discussion of Breathed's reputation amongst cartoonists.

After reading over a couple of those questions and answers pertaining to Bloom County and Mr. Breathed, it's fairly safe to say that Gary Trudeau didn't appreciate some of the subject matter within Bloom County. Whether or not Mr. Trudeau's opinions are justified is a separate matter however. This certainly could be getting blown a bit out of proportion.Jman234 (talk) 16:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New Breathed vs. Old Breathed

Would it be relevant to compare BB's current (irrelevant) work with his old (fantastic) work and the inclusion of his quote "The really scary dinosaurs aren't in Calvin and Hobbes; they're scattered around the rest of the page, ancient, unmovable, and dodging extinction. Some of the better TV series have left the party while they were still having fun. It seems reasonable that cartoonists show the same good sense."

If anyone can find some detailed information, such as the recording of this item, I think it would be a terriffic addition to BB's page. It's not very often that a collection of comics comes with two songs by the cartoonist's fake band! Jman234 (talk) 16:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
