I am new here and despite the fact that I have read the tutorial and Wiki etiquette, I am not sure now to proceed with what I think is a major edit on this page.

What I plan to do with this page is delete (and replace) the picture that accompanies this page. I am a gardener, that has several bergenias in my garden. I know that the photo is not a bergenia - it is Alchemilla mollis. If you click on the image to enlarge it, you will see that there is a plant tag with the words bergenia, but the tag refers to the plant at the very top of the picture.

Over the weekend, I will take a picture of a good representation of a bergenia and will attempt to replace it on this page.
