Messwiss, we are encouraged to be bold, so I guess this is where I need to be. I edited your entry for Beretta 950 Jetfire because it desperately needed editing. You reverted saying (Don't touch. I am using a standard layout.). Before you can used a “standard layout” (?) you need adequate content, which your article demonstrably lacked. There were other deficiencies as well.

It was woefully repetitious.

  • Beretta 950 Jetfire is the title
  • The Beretta 950 Jetfire are the first words of the first paragraph
  • The Beretta 950 Jetfire are the first words of the second paragraph
  • The Beretta 950 Jetfire are the first words of the third paragraph
  • The second par says The Beretta 950 Jetfire builds on a long line of.... pistols .... manufactured by Beretta. The 950 Jetfire is based on ....Beretta pistols. (Beretta three times in one par).
  • The same par also repeats what had already been stated in the preceding par, that The Beretta....is.... manufactured by Baretta.

It is poorly written. One par contains four consecutive examples of ungrammatical writing, non sentences which look like they came direct from advertising blurb, namely:

  • Simple and small, very easy to conceal.
  • Last resort pistol.
  • Inexpensive, very easy to maintain.
  • Well build. (You probably meant built which I changed it to, but which you changed back).

I am reverting to my (amended) version which may not be the greatest article in history, but is more in keeping with the desired standard of Wikipedia. If you disagree, then I guess we should ask for someone to arbitrate. What do you think? Moriori 21:33, Apr 23, 2004 (UTC)

Please don't interfer, I am doing all these pages the same way as all the other Beretta pistol pages I did. This is just supposed to be a basic technical data sheet, with a link to a picture or a picture. In the case of Beretta pocket pistols, there simply is not much history... unlike for ie. Beretta 92. Thank you for your co-operation! Meswiss.
