This picture simply cannot have been taken by a DOE employee if it is from 1940. At best it would have then been an OSRD or MED employee, but I find that extremely unlikely. As such I don't think the copyright information is correct.
Just because it appeared in LBL News does not mean that LBL owns or claims the copyright on it. --Fastfission 11:15, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

Sorry everyone! I made a mistake on tagging this one. I've added the proper tag and given credit to the source. From the LBL image gallery website where I found the original image I am certain we are permitted to use this image. Never the less I am contacting the library directly.
