[edit] Summary

A Bermuda Cedar belfry tree, at Saint Peter's Church in St. George's, Bermuda. The tree was used to hang the church bell before a steeple and belfry were added to St. Peter's Church (originally built in 1612). The tree, which appears to be dead, was felled in a hurricane in 2003, but has not been removed due to its historical significance. St. Peter's is the oldest surviving Anglican (before 1978, Church of England) church outside the British Isles. Aodhdubh 19:45, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
