Hier stand seit 1928 ein
Kempinski-Restaurant.
Es war ein weltweit
bekanntes Symbol
Berliner Gastlichkeit.

Weil die Besitzer Juden
waren, wurde diese
berühmte Gaststätte
1937 „Arisiert“,
unter Zwang verkauft.
Angehörige der
Familie Kempinski
wurden umgebracht,
andere konnten fliehen.

Das 1952 eröffnete
Bristol Hotel Kempinski
möchte, dass das Schicksal
der Gründerfamilie
nicht vergessen wird.
