Albert 'Bert' Beard (born July 5, 1909) was an Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the VFL during the 1930s.
Beard was recruited to South Melbourne from Western Australia, making his VFL debut in 1932. The following season he was a reserve in the club's premiership side. He stayed at South Melbourne until the 1935 season when after one game he decided to cross to Fitzroy to play out the season.
