Berrie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Berrie was the original band name of The Mad Capsule Markets. The Markets first performance occurred during their senior year at a school festival. The Markets also released one Demo entitled POISON REVOLUTION (complete with Japanese Air Raid announcements and the songs included were redone for the SPEAK!! album.). After that they later played a whole host of live shows at The Shinjuku Loft, 7th Avenue and Nippon Fujisawa, which featured a lot of songs that appeared (and some that were never heard of again) on the Humanity album. after opening for the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Seto was replaced by Motokatsu, the band changed their name to The Mad Capsule Markets and a re-release of just Government Wall Was bought out. Recently UK mad capsule fans have found the demo tape and a rare live show at the 7th Avenue and they has been passed around the filesharing network, soulseek.
