[edit] Uses
Berocca, taken before drinking alcohol, is said to prevent hangovers. Similarly, it is said to relieve hangovers. If taken in effervescent form, there will be a rehydrating effect. There is also some evidence that vitamin B helps relieve hangover symptoms. Its sweet, fizzy solution can be easier on the stomach than other vitamins such as those in tablet form.
It is also the official health supplement for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007. Distributed to athletes via small sachets of one effervescent tablet each.
[edit] Additional information
All Berocca products are gluten free. The film-coated Berocca tablets contain 94mg of lactose each, but there is no lactose in an effervescent Berocca tablet. [1]

[edit] Consumer Warnings
Recommended daily dose: From age 12 to adult - one tablet daily.
Each Berocca tablet contains 285mg of sodium, which should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet.
Always read the label. Use only as directed. See your doctor if symptoms persist.
Berocca causes your urine to be deep yellow in colour but it is completely harmless. The colouring is due to the excess vitamin B2 being removed from the body through the urine.
