Bernhard Rosenkränzer (or Bero to the Internet community) is the founder and main developer of Ark Linux, and a contributor to various other free software projects such as KDE and OpenOffice.org. Rosenkraenzer has previously worked for both Mandrake and Red Hat.
His primary interest and work focus is in getting free software and Open Source (he sees the Open Source and Free Software movement as one, and makes a point of using both terms) ready for the desktop.
He also invented an improved system for satellite TV distribution to schools in Ethiopia.[1]
