Bernhard 'Bernd' von Beyenbach (formerly von Beyenbach-Lahnstein) is a fictional character on the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love). The character was portrayed by Ron Holzschuh from March 19, 2003 to February 13, 2007.

He is the father of Vanessa von Beyenbach (Inez Björg David) and the brother of Martin von Beyenbach (Gerry Hungbauer). He was married to his brother's ex-wife Beatrice (Jeannine Burch) and to the lesbian Carla von Lahnstein (Claudia Hiersche). But his marriage with Carla was a fake for Johannes von Lahnstein (Thomas Gumpert), Carla's father, because he didn't know that his daughter is homosexual. After the lie came out, Johannes still wanted Carla to be married to Bernd, but their marriage broke, when Carla said that she is a lesbian.

After her marriage with Carla, Bernd had lots of money problems. He found in the rich bistro owner Charlie Schneider (Gabriele Metzger) the best victim and made her fall in love with him. Charlie's brother Lars (Herbert Ulrich) and Carla warned Charlie about Bernd, but she didn't listen to them. Bernd's game seemed to be a success, but then he slept with an attractive, young woman. He didn't know that this was Charlie's niece Olivia (Kristina Dörfer). She blackmailed Bernd and wanted money for her dissolute life. But Olivia saw that Bernd had no money and she disclosed Charlie, on her engagement party with Bernd, that she slept with him. Bernd left the town, after thinking, that Charlie wouldn't forgive him.
