Berlin Messe Nord/ICC railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Messe Nord/ICC is a station in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S41, S42 and S46.
It is located very close to the Berlin Messe and the International Congress Centrum, which lend the station its name. Originally opened on 1st April, 1916 as Witzleben, the station was out of use between 1980 and 1993 owing to the cessation of services on this route. The station was then reopened along with the rest of the route between Westend and Baumschulenweg. It was given its current name in 2002, to assist visitors to the aforementioned institutions in their orientation.
