Berlenga Grande is the largest of the islands of the Berlengas Archipelago.Berlegas Archipelago includes Berlenga Grande,Estela and Farinhoes islands. The Berlengas are located off cape of Peniche,to the west of the city of Peniche(parish of Sao Pedro),in western Portugal,in the Leiria district.The main isle of Berlenga has a small harbour(connecting to/from Peniche harbour,usually during the summer to/from porto de Penicheand Berlenga Grande.The island has a beach and the Fort of St.John,the Baptiste. The most common birds are seagulls.
