Berhampur Airport

The Brahmapur Airport is situated adjacent to the Berhampur University administrative block.The runway is basically an air strip functional for small air craft take off and landing.The runway is 900 meters and is periodically maintained by the state government of Orissa.There is a suitable helipad too.Wind direction indicator is there but no airport authority.Temporary security is provided when the airstrip is used.The runway is used by the defence establishment,state government,private companies and VIPs to reach Brahampur.
