Beret Bråten

Beret Bråten (born 27 February 1965) is a Norwegian gender researcher and politician for the Labour Party.

She has served in the position of deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Buskerud during the term 1985–1989. During the cabinet Jagland, she was appointed political advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister.[1]

She later concentrated on an academic career. In 2006 she became a research fellow at the Centre for Gender Research at the University of Oslo.
