Berend Jan Marie "Berend-Jan", Baron van Voorst tot Voorst (born Beek, 7 February 1944) is a Dutch, Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) politician. From July 1, 1993 till July 1, 2005 he was the Queen's Commissioner of the Dutch province of Limburg. He was succeeded by Leon Frissen.

Berend-Jan van Voorst tot Voorst did secondary school in Tilburg and studied law at the Catholic University of Nijmegen and politics and science at the University of Fribourg Switzerland). He worked at the European Union parliament in Brussels and was state-secretary for European affairs under the second Dutch parliament led by Ruud Lubbers. He was state-secretary for Defence affairs under the third Dutch parliament led by Ruud Lubbers.

Berend-Jan van Voorst tot Voorst is married and has 3 daughters.
