No mention is made of confirmed hezbollah presense in bekka, no mention is made of the historical and modern role of the area for drug production, and only a minor mention of the use of the area for terrorist training... in other words, a biased and one-sided portrayal of a highly controversial and dangerous region of the world.

This article also mentions that Hezbollah advocates an Islamic state in Lebanon. However, they have long given up on this initial goal. I also agree that that the role of drug production should be mentioned here.

Someone is editing the article and putting all kinds of useless additions such as religions for every town. For some reason that someone is emphasizing "sunni" areas. This is highly ridiculous, and shoving religions into the article for either personal or other reasons WILL reduce the quality of the article. 89.133.10.205 (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Terror" camps

Yeah, the accusations of "terrorist" training camps deserve some mention, but come on, it's not as if an article about the Negev would need to go on and on about Israeli nuclear bomb factories, secret torture prisons, etc. It's a geography article, give it a rest. Eleland 02:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comparisons

The first "geographical" that came to my mind - Ardennes - had a section dedicated to "going on" about the historic significance of the area as far as WW2 is concerned.
