[edit] AfD Nomination: Luzzatto & Luzzatto
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Luzzatto & Luzzatto meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Luzzatto & Luzzatto. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. --Edcolins 18:14, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tefillin
This is your only warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Tefillin, you will be blocked from editing. Natalie 19:57, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you were having trouble with an image, but blanking the page is generally a bad idea. Especially when there are no edit summaries to indicate what you are doing. Also, in the future please leave messages on my talk page, not on my user page. Thanks! Natalie 20:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Bobatwailingwall.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bobatwailingwall.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:36, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Palestine
Seeing how the Demographics entry is structured, a subarticle should be titled Historical demography of Palestine or something to that effect. El_C 08:02, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NK
About 100 would seem correct indeed. --Eidah 13:52, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Kapparot demo.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Kapparot demo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 07:36, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Be careful
Hi Benqish and welcome to Wikipedia. You recently tried to contact blocked users User:Daniel575 [1] and User:Eidah [2] asking for help or if they have new accounts. Can you not see that they are blocked and not allowed to have new accounts? If you need help with Judaism topics, post a request at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Judaism and there will always be someone there to help out or guide you to where to get the help you need. But do not contact banned or blocked users as this sends the wrong signal to everyone concerned. Thank you, IZAK 09:11, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yeshiva
Please review WP:V, WP:OR, and WP:NPOV. I too spent decades in yeshiva and kollel and I understand, if not share, your perspective. However, the wikipedia rules and guidelines need to be followed, otherwise everyone will strat adding unreferenced information, both positive and negative, and the entire project will suffer. Thank you for understanding and please drop me a line if you have any questions. -- Avi (talk) 23:09, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Spelling
Hi, I have noticed that you have changed the name of the city in the article Beersheba to Beer-Sheva. Please review Talk:Beersheba and WP:CON, WP:COMMONNAME and WP:ENGLISH before making any more such changes. Also, it is considered bad form to make an edit simply to change a word from American to English spelling (or vice versa), like you did in Neve Tzedek, unless there's a specific reason to, which you should state in your edit summary. [edit] Your edits to CE/BCE
As you are new, you might like to understand why your edits were reverted. The problem is that we as editors cannot say what is best, because that is our opinion which offends against the principle of "No original research". On the other hand, you could quote a WP:notable person who said so (but to comply with the principle of WP:NPOV, ideally you should also quote a notable person who said the opposite). --Red King (talk) 20:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
