Thanks for uploading Image:SplinterLogo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Here's a point-by-point rebuttal of your changes to the SHARP category in the skinhead article:

- some SHARPs are non-political, but many (perhaps even most) are in fact political in some way.
"...believe that the skinhead way of life has always been (and always should be) an international..."
- Maybe you mean multiracial or multicultural. In the beginning, skinheads were only in Britain, so how could it always have been international? There's nothing in the skinhead culture that necessitates that it exists in many countries around the world.
"SHARP is not connected to (nor should be confused with) political anti-racist skins (such as RASH, Redskins and Anarcho-Skinheads)"
- SHARP is definitely connected to other anti-racist skins such as RASH, redskins, and anarchist skins. That doesn't mean all SHARPs are leftists or political though. If you disagree with that, you might want to ask why The Oppressed and United Front(from Glasgow like yourself) are on the "THIS IS R.A.S.H. UK & IRELAND (part 1)" CD compilation. You might want to talk to one of your own band members too, because Oi Polloi has a song on there too.

- It's already obvious that SHARPs appeared when the right wing racist movement appeared in the skinhead scene. However, as I mentioned, many SHARPS are in fact political. You many be confusing them with trads, who tend not to be as vocally political.

don't know who you are or how well you know the people you refer to, but it is a lot of them and other old skins / sharps that this info was based on. why don't you contact these people yourself and ask? if sharp and rash were connected, why are they given different names and considered to be different? just because some of these groups share 1 or 2 common ideals does not mean that they are connected. the fundamental difference of sharp and rash, etc, is that one is heavily driven by politics and the other isn't. the reason they get so readily confused is cos of pricks who go on sites like this and associate the two.
it is commonly known that the oppressed hold their views because they were not only connected to sharp, but also heavily involved with AFA. this makes the oppressed AFA supporters, it doesn't make sharp a political movement. also, by the time political skins existed, skinhead was a way of life that had spread through many countries (i.e. an international way of life). in fact, there were skins as far wide as australia since the 60s.
i have been involved with antifa in one way or another across the years, but it doesn't mean that this is what sharp stands for - so i was only stating facts. i was merely using these facts (not my personal feelings, like you) to elaborate on what was already written. you had to be the know it all wanker who keeps deleting that because you don't personally feel that way. this site is not for people to express their personal feelings, but to state facts.
i'm not confusing sharp with trad skins (as i didn't write that they are the same at all), so read what i wrote more carefully. any sharp i've ever known (or that mates have known) that was old enough to be around in the original time, was a trad skin before becoming sharp - which happened when all the racists appeared. this is the basic statement i made.
it's funny that you would tell me to ask my drummer about this (as if we'd never talked about it before), cos i'd love to know what you're basing all this on (asides from what is obviously your own personal views). i'd appreciate it if you provided some solid info / references to debate anything i've said here (instead of referring to them as lies and half truths, ya wank) before running in and trashing what i've written (as if you're some kind of einstein on the matter). like i said, DON'T EXERT YOUR PERSONAL VIEWS onto what are meant to be FACTUAL PAGES.

p.s. if you're gonna talk to me as if you know who ia am, reveal yourself instead of hiding behind a username. i'm getting the impression i could quite possibly know who you are.
- Neither the Wikipedia article, nor I have claimed that SHARP and RASH are the same thing, only that they have some links and common beliefs. That is undeniable, especially since some people have been active in both groups, and many people involved in SHARP over the years have been left wing. Maybe in the early days where you're from SHARP was totally non-political, but things have changed a lot since then.
Yes, the skinhead scene has spread to many countries around the world, but I have never seen any SHARP literature - or have heard a SHARP say - anything like the skinhead scene is an "international" way of life. You're free to prove otherwise with some citations.
I renamed the category and reworded it a bit:
"Anti-racist and Anti-Fascist - Aggressively anti-racist and often political. This category includes SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice), RASH (Red and Anarchist Skinheads), Redskins, and Anarcho-Skinheads. The moniker "SHARP" is sometimes used to describe all outspoken anti-racist skinheads, even if they aren't members of a SHARP organization."
I don't see how anyone could argue with that. Yes, it's a simple brief definition, but that's all it's meant to be. And it 100% factual.

that's cool, it's good to come to a comprimise as the combination of both our info has probably given the definition a wider birth and, therefore, more accuracy. as for skinhead being an international way of life, you might not find literature to state that as it was merely an expression of the skinhead attitude and how far spread it had become (i.e. that race or origin was never originally associated with the skin way of life). anything that exists as far spread as skinhead has been for such a long time would be considered non-racial and international (for example, soccer is an international game). thanks for the info about the rash compilation, when was it released? i find it quite funny to see united front on there as they are certainly not rash. some of them are definately sharp, but certanly not rash. i think that one was a result of the bass player. he doesn't really know what the fuck he is (it usually depends on who he's talking to)!

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thank you for uploading Image:Sharpglasgow.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
