[edit] Regarding your recent edits to Foie gras

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. —Trevyn 20:57, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:DSCF4204.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:DSCF4204.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:06, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Foie gras mediation request

Hi! I'm writing to let you know that I've opened up a mediation case (Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-12-27 Foie Gras controversy) in which you are listed as a participant. Please read me comments in the mediator's response area there, and we can decide on a text for the article. ST47Talk 23:55, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Three unanswered questions to Essjay

Just for the record, I put here three questions I made to Essjay about his responsabilities in the false accusation of sockpuppetry against me. He never answered. Not only: he deleted my message from his talk page and restored it only some days after, when he archived the page: see deletion and restoration. My message was the first one on the current talk page at that time, so I presume he did not like everybody reading it and seeing that he had acted wrongly and refused to admit it. Not cool. [edit] Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Olivierd again

Olivierd already gave a large account of the unjust case of sockpuppetry which has been mounted against him, Zelig33 and me: you promptly archived it, no idea if you intend to answer. But the affair is not closed. Let me point some other things concerning me:
  • You say now that I should have written to MGM, who blocked me, and are now rejecting all the responsability on him. Well, I did write to him, and it is because you did not answer to him requesting info about the checkuser that I wrote to you directly. Just after he blocked me, I wrote to him, showed my identity and asked him to unblock me. He said that he was going to contact you. I waited two days and nothing happened. Then I wrote to him again, asking him to contact you again. Again, nothing. It seems that you never answered to him. MGM said that you did not answer: look here and here, and also on your talk page, where he left a message to which you never answered. Now, the question is: why didn't you even answer to him? I leave you discussing responsabilities with your colleague MGM - but let me say, your attitude is not correct in respect to him.
  • I did not send to you neither death threats nor insults nor spam, but just two mails: the first one's object was "My name is Agnese Pignataro" and gave you details about me (such as the link to my personal website); the second one's object was "last try" and was a simple request to answer to the first one. Anyway, you seem not to grasp the implication of your "death threats story" as a pretext for not answering to mails people send to you to ask to review their case: it means that Wikipedia denies to its editors what civil countries allow even to the worst criminals, i.e. the right to speak in their defense. This is a serious problem, Essjay: do you understand it?
  • To justify your decision of considering us as sockpuppets or meatpuppets, you quoted the WP:SOCK rule "The Arbitration Committee has ruled that, for the purpose of dispute resolution, when there is uncertainty whether a party is one user with sock puppets, or several users acting as meatpuppets, they may be treated as one individual". A part from the fact that this rule seems to be intended for the whole Arbitration Committee in cases of arbitration and you applied it by yourself and not in an arbitration case, your behaviour did not even treat the three of us as one, but as zero: by what right?

Now, I leave you at your California meeting. Take your time to answer, I'm not in a hurry: I'm doing a lot of fine editings about medieval Chartres philosophers and ancient Greek atomists and I'm having a lovely time. Just one last thing. I see on your personal pages that you like Latin mottoes: please find a new one for you in my personal page. :-) Benio76 19:14, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
