[edit] AfD Nomination: The Stringbeans

An editor has nominated the article The Stringbeans for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Stringbeans. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article The Stringbeans during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Stringbeansfirstsingle.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Stringbeansfirstsingle.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Beatlesbesthits.JPG

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Beatlesbesthits.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gordon Brown, very clever edit, but...

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Gordon Brown. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lynbarn (talkcontribs).

Did you not see my edit summary where I explained that we already have two early childhood sections? Why are you adding a third? Thanks. El_C 09:48, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
