Stop mischaracterizing as misspellings
Stop falsely characterizing spellings of words in the English language using the English alphabet as misspellings. Gene Nygaard 09:46, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Unlike Gene, I assume your edits were in good faith, but I agree with him that the omission of a diacritical mark is not a "misspelling." It would be better to use {{R from title without diacritics}} than {{R from misspelling}} for this type of redirect. --Russ (talk) 14:32, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Era/Period Debate
Thanks for your comments on Talk:Meiji period and fixing the Template:History of Japan. Since one other person (who doesn't seem to have much understsanding of the topic) has already waded in supporting the vote to move, we may need all the help we can get in quashing this poorly thought-out suggestion. Please add an opposing vote as well.-Jefu 07:15, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
