[edit] link to defender
Hello, when you want to link to the article about a defender, please do not link to defender, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as defender (football) by writing out [[defender (football)|defender]] Regards, -- Jeff3000 20:44, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notice
A tag has been placed on Fadel Keita, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SUBWAYguy 17:15, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:Ppcmag.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ppcmag.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Amaradiane.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Amaradiane.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. MECU≈talk 22:14, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Arouna-trophy.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Arouna-trophy.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:53, 28 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 01:53, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Gilles Sunu
An editor has nominated Gilles Sunu, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gilles Sunu and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Balticsunset.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:DSC 0518.JPG. The copy called Image:DSC 0518.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 21:00, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flags
Please do not add flags to footballers infoboxes. Following discussions at WP:FOOTY, it's quite clear they're not needed. Thanks, Mattythewhite 12:49, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the flag icons that you added to Moustapha Salifou in the player datasection. After Wikipedia wide, and WP:FOOTY discussion the consensus was reached that they are unhelpful. In the case of the player data section they can misalign the figures. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Flags in infoboxes for details. Please stop adding them in. Any questions can be left on my talk page. Thanks Woodym555 15:37, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add flags in infoboxes as per WP:FLAGS. You were already warned. If you have a disagreement, please discuss it in Flags in Infoboxes. Alexf(Talk/Contribs) 12:00, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed flags in infoboxes from Carlos Tévez, Royston Drenthe, Moustapha Salifou, Eric Odhiambo, John Utaka, Franck Songo'o, Lucien Mettomo, Arouna Koné, Bakari Koné, Yussif Chibsah, Koffi Ndri Romaric, Gervais Yao Kouassi, Ederson Honorato Campos, Habib Bamogo. Please don't post them again without discussing your intentions first or it will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked. Alexf(Talk/Contribs) 12:27, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
