This page has been vandalised, 59 times. Lucky old me. |
So, here I am. This is my user page. Now what do I want to put here? Hello <waves>.
Born and raised in Northern Ireland where I spent my first 19 years before moving to England to attend university. I ended up in Canterbury (hey it was the furthest university from home and still in the English speaking Europe). Once there I attended University of Kent where I obtained a BSc in Physics with Space Science and Systems. I am now employed in the role I studied for, obviously a Business/Technical Analyst and Developer for a media company, glad the degree proved vital in my everyday life.
My interests vary wildly and I can be found on pages concerning many different topics. Check my contributions to see what I've been altering lately.
I have strong interests in the fields of role-playing games, Japanese and in the neutral portrayal of the articles relating to Northern Ireland.
Of late I seem to have spent most of my time going to random articles and cleaning up anything that needs doing to them, that and removing vandalism when and where I find it. So I seem to be doing more janitorial duties than actual article editing, aw well.

WikiProjects
Wikipedia projects I am a member of.
Current Projects
- I am currently randomly going through Wikipedia and trying to neutralise the geographical knowledge required by a reader of any of the location articles. By this I mean that an article should not presume that the reader knows, for example, that Ohio is in the United States and that it should state in the opening sentence the country in which a location is located. This allows for easier reading and understanding by Wikipedians all over the world.
- Remove ' from decades. For example, 1920's should be 1920s, it's a plural not a possessive and there are no letters missing. Unfortunately this is an extremely common mistake so this project may take quite some time.
To Do List
- Continue with putting national identifiers in any locational articles that need them.

Appreciation
All of us on Wikipedia do what we do because we enjoy it and like to contribute to a greater community and not to gain recognition by our peers. However saying that some people do recognise others contributions and I would like to thank them for it.
