Ben takes pride in being Canadian, eh. He has a particular interest in improving the quality of Canadian Wikipedia articles, especially those involving Thunder Bay. He urges all Canadians to join the Canadian Wikipedians' Notice Board and contribute. For instance, they can help revive the Canadian Collaboration of the Week, which currently languishes because very few people are working to maintain it. Ben Babcock regrets that he has admittedly lapsed in his own committments to these projects.
Ben has completed his grade 10 year at Fort William Collegiate Institute. Unfortunately, FWCI is scheduled for closure at the end of the 2004/2005 school year. Its closure may be postponed if the Ontario Ministry of Education steps in to follow recommendations by an independent facilitator's report. Ben urges any other Ontarian Wikipedians out there to write letters to Gerard Kennedy addressing concerns over school closures.
