The large "Triumph of Religion" in the Ateneo at Ferrara is a purely "bookish" work...

What is meant by "Ateneo" in this article? Because the Ateneo article it links to doesn't seem to have the same meaning. TheCoffee 3 July 2005 10:00 (UTC)

I have pared the prior paragraph dramatically, conforming it to details I could corroborate with SJ Freedberg's text. The prior text failed NPOV. While I myself find much to dislike about the style of Garofalo, I would not go so far as to say his career was a mistake. Carravagisti

the reason why your edits had been reverted was because we thought it was a generic blanking due to the massive ammount being taken out in your edits. Usually we find that when IPs do stuff, and a large chunk is blanked it is usually just vandalism. We do read some of the content, but if enough is blanked we end up reverting it. If there is a good reason why you removed all of that extra content, I am sorry for not knowing.

You also mentioned that you're using it to keep track of your reviews. Although reviews are a good thing, Wikipedia isn't quite the place for them, since we try to keep a neutral point of view on all articles. Please stay to the author's history, and whatever paintings and the reasons for their creation, etc. in the article. If you have any more questions, feel free to hit me up on my user talk page again
