[edit] Discussion

This article has been marked for some time but the person did not make any statements why.

Firstly: no direct addressing of the reader! This is an encyclopedia, not a training guide. The topic is well worth to be featured in such a guide - but the wikipedia article should only summarize it, link to it, and depict the state of the discussion of the topic.

The latter is my second criticism: it's important to describe how this exercise became "no longer popular" and what exactly are the risks involved which the last paragraph hints at. (Subjective thoughts coming to my layman's mind: is it generally as unergonomical as it looks, or am I spoiled by the "clean" movements rehabilitation machines? Was it pushed aside by the Nautilus machines? What risks and what benefits does it have compared to the exercises which replaced, probably machine-supported ones?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.50.225.38 (talk • contribs) 2007-08-09

If you can get started on cleaning it up, please do. -Amatulic 20:19, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of lots of material

The majority of the material in this article was copyvio, unsourced, instructional, original research, or some combination of the aforementioned. I've removed all the offending material. The article is now rather short, so additions w/ citations from reliable sources are welcome. MrVibrating (talk) 12:50, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
