[edit] In need of a rewrite

I've only seen bits and pieces of this movie, so I don't know all of the plot points. But maybe somebody who is more familiar with the movie can rewrite the plot summary. I took the time to update it today, after watching it. Hopefully everyone who reads it now will understand the actual plot.
