Uhh, Kamehameha's missiles were not deactivated in the early eighties, or in the 80s at all. Gold crew launched the last Poseidon C-3 ever to be launched off the coast of Florida in 1989 IIRC - it might have been 1990. I was the AMR2LL watch when it happened.
