Whoever edited this obviously is very fond of Benjamin Cole and his legacy, but at the expense of neutrality. Some of the edits and added material are simply inaccurate. Case in point: the uncredited author claimed that Cole was responsible for developing Mayagüez's airport (true, to some extent), but as a mayor (inaccurate), not as a legislator. Cole constantly requested that the airport (a facility for which he obtained funding as a legislator) be made a municipal one, to no avail. The author goes on to claim that Cole was directly responsible for retaining and attracting various major employers on the city. There's plenty of evidence that Cole was adamant about preserving most of Mayagüez' tuna canning industry, and using considerable political clout and lobbying to prevent the industry from essentially disappearing (as it almost has had, unfortunately). However, most "promoted" industries were already in the city by the time Cole became mayor.
Even quoting the Spanish pronounciation of Cole as Co-lay goes against WP's use of IPA in most of its articles. I don't even know which squiggly characters I'm supposed to select in this case myself(!).
I've rewritten some facts as to adhere to Wikipedia's policy on the matter. I've also removed at least one inaccurate statement: that of Cervecería India ("India Brewery") being "attracted" by Cole (in fact, the plant has been in Mayagüez since the late 1930s) Demf 15:18, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
