Talk:Benihana (skateboarding trick)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The original article said that Andy McDonald refined this trick but did not define how. --Somebody
I find the claim that the trick was named after the restaurant very odd. According to Benihana, the word is Japanese for Safflower. It seems, to me, that the trick is more likely to have been named after the safflower, as the trick could resemble the appearance of the flower. I can't seem to find anything on the subject, though. --Vironex 00:16, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
This trick is named after the Benni Hannawald. A Skateboard-Pro of the 80´s of german origin. And I guess the guy who wrote this article doesn´t know anything about skateboarding except THPS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.201.70.124 (talk) 17:04, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
