[edit] Best Known For...?

I'm a native Victorian, and followed his Isitt's first campaign with at least some interest. Not of voting age then (or now), I of course did not vote in the mayoral election.

However, I noticed that the article page on Isitt says "best known for his 2002 and 2005 campaigns for mayor". Now, considering that mayoral elections have not even occured, and he only acheived nomination in the past few days, how can he be "best known" for his 2005 campaign? To the best of my knowledge, it hasn't even occured yet!

By the way, to whoever expanded this article, good job! Quite a bit of information in there, and seems relatively NPOV. I presume, however, that you are a supporter? I simply say this not because of any perceived POV, but simply because you seem to have taken the time to gather information about him.

Thank you.

Hi. I wrote that he was best known for the 2002 campaign before the information that he won the VCE nomination for 2005 was added. Having sought and won the nomination, the mayoral campaign is certainly on, so I added 2005 to that line on that rationale.
Supporter? I'm on the other side of the country, and came across this article fairly randomly. He was intriguing. :) Samaritan 09:59, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
