This is is a historically significant photo, because it is one of the few digitalized pictures of Bento António Gonçalves, taken, perhaps, in the late 1920s.
The role of Bento Gonçalves in the ideological shaping of the Portuguese Communist Party is unique, therefore, his picture in the articles is a valuable inclusion.
The picture is used not only by the Portuguese Communist Party, but also by other sources in several documents and publications.
It is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
