A plaque erected by the state of Vermont at the Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site in Walloomsac, New York commemorating the achievements of the Vermont militia and their comrades from neighboring states during the Battle of Bennington, waged on 16 August 1777. Photographed on 30 May 2008.
