[edit] Summary

Description

In September of 2002 as part of the Landscapes and Backgrounds exhibition, a 2.5 times scale park bench was constructed on the top of the Line of Load, which is a high hill of mine deposits in the center of the city of Broken Hill.

It’s purpose was to create a sense of child like wonder at the remarkable view from the top of the hill out across the city and to the arid desert beyond.
