Bentworth is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England, about four miles west of Alton. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 466. It covers an area of roughly 4 square miles. It has two pubs, the Star Inn and the Sun Inn (Although it did have a third pub called the Moon Inn, but it was burnt down in 1921), a church and a primary school. It was formerly served by the Bentworth and Lasham railway station on the Basingstoke and Alton Light Railway, until its closure in 1932.
