Bentley, Suffolk

Bentley is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England, a few miles south-west of Ipswich. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 727.

Bentley has a primary school and church but no shops. There is also a pub, "The Case is Altered". The mainline Ipswich to London railway line passes through Bentley and many years ago there used to be a station there. Motorcycle scrambles also used to be held there on farmland at the side of the primary school. Large crowds used to gather to spectate. There is a riding school & stables on the edge of the village.
