Benoît Poher is the lead singer of the popular French rock band Kyo.
He was born June 27, 1979 in Yvelines, France (in the Paris area). Born to musician parents, the desire to create music came to him during his school years. Benoît met the other three members of Kyo (Fabien Dubois, Florian Dubois, and Nicolas Chassagne) in 1994 while all four of them attended collège (comparable to middle or junior high school in America). He was the singer in the group from the moment they began practicing together as teenagers.
He is often nicknamed "Ben" by his fans.
