Bennie Green (16 April 1923–23 March 1977 was an American jazz trombonist born in Chicago, Illinois, perhaps best known for his many recordings as leader through the 1950s and 1960s. Equally noteworthy would be his earlier collaborations with Charlie Ventura and Earl Hines.
