Benjamin Lister

Benjamin Lister (December 9, 1850December 3, 1919) was a first class cricketer who played 6 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1874 to 1878 and one match for the Players of the North in 1878. He also appeared in 2 non first class games for Yorkshire against Scotland in Edinburgh during May of that year.

A right handed batsman and occasional wicket keeper, he scored 46 runs at an average of just 4.6 with a best of 19 not out for the Players of the North against an England XI in Dewsbury. He also took 2 catches in total. He was born on December 9, 1850 in Birkenshaw, Yorkshire and died on December 3, 1919 in Bradford, Yorkshire.
